ProInversión awards S/ 228 million project to build COAR in Pasco, Huancavelica and Cusco

The Peruvian Private Investment Promotion Agency (Proinversión) awarded the project "Contribution of infrastructure and complementary services to educational management for new high-performance schools in the Pasco, Huancavelica and Cusco regions" (COAR Centro) to the Concessionaire company of Infrastructure Projects Peru Branch, of the Marhnos Group.


The project, with an investment of S/ 228 million (excluding VAT), includes the development of educational infrastructure under the co-financed Public-Private Partnership model, in the towns of Chontabamba (Pasco), Callqui Grande (Huancavelica) and Oropesa (Cusco), through a 20-year concession, for the design, financing, construction and equipping of the three shools.


Each school will have a covered area of ​​more than 14,000 m2, with four large areas: academic; school life; residence; and sports, administrative and general services; all are fully equipped.


Infrastructure maintenance services will also be provided; replacement of furniture and equipment; feeding; comprehensive cleaning, waste management and pest control; laundry; and surveillance and security.


The State will continue to be responsible for educational, administrative management and pedagogical services (teaching and learning), as well as the hiring of teachers.
